🌍 Day 2 of Camp Culture was a beautiful celebration of Ukrainian and Yezidi heritage! 🇺🇦🧕🏽 Our campers had the chance to learn directly from community members—including the Asian Center's Ukrainian advocate, Alina, and our amazing Yezidi high school leaders. The day was filled with hands-on activities and cross-cultural connections: 🎨 Crafting wooden necklaces with Ukrainian symbols 🥚 Decorating eggs inspired by traditional Ukrainian Easter designs 🌿 Henna from Yezidi students 🍬 Sweet treats from both cultures We’re so grateful to our presenters for sharing their stories and traditions.
