Home - Friends of the Governor's Mansion Built in 1856 the Governors Mansion is the oldest continuously occupied executive residence west of the Mississippi. The Collection Ten rooms in the Texas Governors Mansion contain the Mansion Collection of fine and decorative arts curated by Friends of the Governors Mansion. Free guided tours of the Texas Governors Mansion are available Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays from 200 to 400 p. m.
