SOSS2 - Save our Siesta Sand SOSS2 The Board of SOSS2 would like to thank each and every one of you who generously contributed to support our fight against the Army Corps of Engineers and their 50 year plan to dredge the Big Pass shoal that protects Siesta Key. We deeply regret that our lawsuit in federal court was not successful. On July 6 2020 Chief Justice Steven D. Merryday denied our request for a temporary restraining order against the ACOE and on September 30 2020 he rendered his final ruling in favor of the ACOE and against SOSS2.
