Exciting event coming up this weekend! Join Poplar Forest Archaeology this Saturday, May 10th from 10 AM-3 PM right here at Poplar Forest for a day of history, community & exploration. Try your hand at digging, screening, and washing artifacts. Or if dirt’s not for you, there are plenty of dirt-free activities for all ages! Held at the 1857 Slave Dwelling as part of the ongoing 1857 Slave Dwelling Restoration Project.
