Francestown Old Meeting House Beauty and History in the Heart of a New England Village In 1772 settlers in southern NH voted to form a new town. As a romantic gesture the Governor suggested naming the town for his beautiful bride Frances Wentworth. Later Francestown erected a Meeting House as lovely and graceful as its namesake. A Unique Memorable Event Venue Support Donate Contact Us Completed in 1803 the Old Meeting House has seating capacity for 250 people and is a perfect venue for any event.
