This Saturday right before Art Walk join us at the Drucker Institute located on the campus of CGU (1021 N Dartmouth Ave) from 4-6 pm. FREE Tickets! Limit 2 per order. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/artists-in-harmony-and-history-tickets-1373955711519?aff=ebdsoporgprofile Artists Richard Barnes, Otto D’Ambrosio, and Warren Shingleton, currently featured in Sound Formations: Artist, Muscian, Instrument Maker exhibition, will each speak and showcase their instruments, going into the history and their own artistry. This will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about the Viola da Gamba after Joachim Tiekle (1699) , 2013, currently on display. Amongst other performances, the evening will culminate in a brief performance by Malachai Bandy, Assistant Professor of Music; Music History, and Eva Lymenstull, baroque cellist and violist da gamba.
