Today is national rescue dog day and we are screaming hooray! Why? Because Sanji is officially adopted! 🥳 Hip hip, hooray! Sanji has been adopted by his amazing foster mom Shelly, who has been so attentive with Sanji while he learned a new environment, minor ear infections, and anything that was thrown their way. Sanji was brought into our rescue last year after one of our trusted trainers and friend, Jen of Pawstigious Pets initiated his surrender from his previous owner, who left Sanji outside in the cold, heat, and wasn't feeding him, which left him extremely underweight. All of that, however, is in his past ❤️ and we want to thank everyone who had a hand in rewriting Sanji's future. Sammie and the crew are decompressing so well with our amazing trainer Jessica from @danburydawghouse ! Here they are playing ball, and Sammi is showing off his playful side 😍 Words cannot express how much we enjoy seeing them blossom in a positive, spacious environment where they can just be dogs and learn their proper doggy behavior. Reminder that these dogs are not yet available for adoption, and that future adopters need to have breed experience. We will be adopting out in the Tri-state area, but please be patient with us and the dogs, as our priority and best interest is always with the dogs and their long term health and well being.
