Primrose is looking for a calm home with a patient person willing to help her blossom. ADOPTED! We haven’t quite been able to help as many Texas dogs lately due to the high cost of transport but we squeezed Arlo in last weekend! Arlo was found as a stray running the streets looking distressed and dodging traffic. He had previously been adopted as a puppy from a Texas shelter and was even microchipped and neutered. When our rescue partner contacted the owner registered on Arlo’s microchip, that Arlo had been found and was almost hit by a car, the person stated, “I don’t care. Put him back and if he dies, he dies.” It’s hard to fathom that level of callousness but we see it in rescue fairly regularly 😓 That was enough green light for Arlo to be able to transfer to our program so we could find him a home that actually cared. Arlo’s foster family asked us to hold off on marketing him because they were hoping to adopt and they thought he might be the one. Arlo quickly snuggled into their hearts and within a week they decided to adopt him. Have the very best new life sweet Texas boy! 💛 (fb)
