Cohort Sistas | Advancing Racial Equity in Doctoral Education ADVANCING EQUITY IN DOCTORAL EDUCATION FOR HISTORICALLY EXCLUDED WOMEN FEMME SCHOLARS Equitable doctoral education is a path to progress prosperity and transformative societal change. We support the recruitment and retention of historically excluded doctoral scholars especially Black women and nonbinary people so they can successfully navigate academia connect to meaningful careers in higher education and the global workforce and increase their mental and economic wellbeing. WHAT WE DO Resources Our culturallytailored professional development workshops courses conferences and podcast provide ondemand tools and training to democratize the hidden curriculumfor doctoral students and applicants. Mentorship Our yearlong mentorship program provides culturally relevant disciplinebased academic professional and personal development to address the lack of mentorship and community for underrepresented doctoral students.
