Open Roads is a summer adventure for high school students that combines travel and the documentary arts over the course of a three-week Storytelling Expedition Open Roads is dedicated to providing experiences that combine quality time in nature, intentional conversations, and an introduction to the documentary arts of photography, film, and writing to inspire a more kind and healthy world for all of us.

Open Roads is a national academy that delivers transformative personal growth programs. Our unique model combines aweinspiring wilderness adventures with reflective writing and the creative story arts to help young adults discover the enormous mental health benefits of time in nature while gaining the skills to become leaders of social change and ambitious authors of the own life story. We design programs in partnership with schools foundations and youth organizations that serve highcharacter young adults who show leadership potential.
