Felines Under Rescue Inc
FUR started as a TNR organization 16 years ago. Now we do so much more! Our goal is to keep cats and dogs OUT of the shelters by spay/neuter! Even though our main objective is TNR, we now also pay for the s/n of dogs and cats whose owners cannot afford it. We pay for pet food for dogs/cats belonging to needy people. We pay vet bills for injured/sick dogs/cats if owners cannot afford it. We discovered years ago that many people turn their pets in to shelters or just dump then out if they cannot afford to fix or feed them or give them medical treatment in hard times. We believe that what we do is the way to keep animals out of shelters. Poor people love their pets too and by our help they are able to keep them!
