Vehicle Fire 🔥 Just after 3 am Company 7 and Company 15 (West End Fire & Rescue Company) responded to Interstate 81 North around the 21.5mm for a tractor trailer brakes on fire. Engine 7-1 arrived finding the rear axle area of the trailer on fire with fire extending into the trailer. Engine 7-1 deployed the bumper line and quickly knocked the fire. Crews from 7 and 15 worked for 45 mins overhauling the trailer before returning to service. Special thanks to Wrightsville Fire for sending a transfer crew while we held our Spring Bash.
