Home - avalon housing A Home is a Foundation for a Future Avalon Housing works to end homelessness by developing affordable housing centered on community care and support. Housing Justice for Washtenaw County The lack of affordable housing is a leading cause of homelessness nationwide. This is especially true here in Washtenaw County one of the most expensive housing markets in Michigan. In our community and across the country a disproportionate number of people experiencing homelessness are people of color.

Thrilled to see the progress at Dunbar Tower at Fourth and Catherine in Ann Arbor. Today, O'Neil Construction held a "topping out" ceremony, raising the final beam to the top of the building after it was signed by people who have been working on and planning the development. We're so excited to be co-developers of this project, which consists of 63-units of affordable housing, with the Ann Arbor Housing Commission.
