Jax was one of two puppies adopted from a rural shelter with no vetting. He was returned later due to medical problems, including a heavy load of worms and a prolapsed rectum. A huge Thank You to Michelle Marquart for taking this dog in and Ashton Cauthin for temp fostering and transporting him, and Nancye Frank and Susan Merrill for coordinating the transfer to FUR. He is now in medical Boarding at Palm Valley Veterinary Center. Thank you Alexis for squeezing us in, Dr. Wolf for taking good care of him. In addition to his other problems, Jax has Coccidia. Remember sweet Milo, the four-year-old cuddlebug who was abandoned at Pet Paradise in Tallahassee? Thanks to Misty and the incredible team at Pet Paradise Jacksonville Airport, he had a soft place to land—and now, he’s landed for good. We’re thrilled to share that Milo has officially been adopted by Laryn Wesson and her husband Tyler. Laryn is an employee at Pet Paradise, and she fell in love with him immediately. Milo now gets to go to doggy daycare with his new puppy siblings. This goofy, zoomie-loving, belly-rub-obsessed sweetheart now has a forever home where he’ll be loved and spoiled the way he deserves. Thank you, Susan Merrill, for doing the home visit and helping with the adoption, and Walt Shay for helping get supplies and equipment for Milo to the airport. A huge thank you to Misty and the staff at Pet Paradise for not only caring for Milo during a difficult time, but for helping so many of our pups along the way. And thank you to Jessica Cromer for always showing up with love (and treats!) for our dogs in boarding!
