Yesterday on April 14th, the Texas Public Health Committee unanimously approved HB 3717, a bill introduced by House Representative Cody Harris. This legislation marks a major milestone—it establishes a grant program to fund FDA-approved clinical trials of Ibogaine, a powerful compound known for its potential to disrupt opioid dependence and support healing from traumatic brain injury and trauma. This is more than policy—it’s progress.
