Friends of Slavens School Our Mission Formed in 1996 Friends of Slavens School FOSS is a 501c3 charity charged with the goal of raising money to fundstudent education at Slavens inprograms that are no longer solely fundedthrough the public education system. This includes STEM instruction and state of the art STEM lab artmusic foreign language and athletics. WE ARE COMMUNITY GIVING EXCELLENCE WE ARE SLAVENS What We Do Giving our kids access to these extras not only makes for a better school experience but helps create future leaders and great thinkers. Recent FOSS funding includes paying the salary of our STEM facilitator laptops for the mobile STEM labaudio michrophone systems webcams Covid PPE and cleaning suppliesband scholarships and instruments athletics fundingand art festival support among other gifts.
