Essex County Greenbelt is a non-profit land trust dedicated to conserving the farmland, wildlife habitat and scenic landscapes of Essex County. Greenbelt has conserved nearly 17,000 acres of local land and has been directly involved in protecting 75% of the acreage conserved in the past ten years.

Volunteers are the heart of the Greenbelt community, and we’re always excited to welcome new faces into the mix — like Laura Reinoso-Graham. A recent transplant to Lynn from her native Colombia, Laura quickly connected with Greenbelt to explore the area and meet like-minded, environmentally conscious people. Since then, she’s been an active and enthusiastic volunteer, lending a hand at public events and trail cleanups.
