Our Swanton Trailblazers spent this past Saturday with Erika Weliczko, from Vermont Electric Power Company, learning electrical basics. After learning some theory and terminology, Trailblazers jumped into hands on learning repairing electrical cords and then wiring electrical boxes. Way to go Trailblazers.

Trailblazers is returning to Hartford. Vermont Works for Women’s FREE seven-week training prepares women and gender-expansive individuals ages 18+ for careers in construction and the trades. Through hands-on learning in a safe and supportive environment, participants build skills, gain confidence, and explore fields that tend to be male dominated.
