Welcome to the Hugo Kauder Society - The Hugo Kauder Society HugoKauderSociety Welcome to the Hugo Kauder Society Hugo Kauder was a midcentury Viennese composer pedagogue and emigre to America who defied the atonal trend of his generation with his uniquely harmonic contrapuntal style. His legacy of over 300 works many yet to be published is receiving renewed interest today. The Hugo Kauder Society hopes to share Kauders music with the next generation of musicians and listeners. Its annual competition will shortly be continued supporting emerging young musicians and connecting them with Kauders work.
