Helen B. Murray Oncology Foundation Helping defray the costs of treatment for cancer victims What We Do We work with doctors groups on behalf of patients to directly reduce the financial burden associated with their cancer treatment. Support is given to individuals who do not qualify for other aid and is primarily directed in assisting patients with the physician portion of their delinquent and past due bills. As a result of the Foundations long relationship with a number of physicians oncology groups the Foundation receives matching inkind contributions from participating physicians in the form of further reductions in the patients outstanding balance. Our Mission We are dedicated to providing financial assistance to victims of cancer who are too impoverished to cover the cost of their own treatment and who have little hope of catching up to their debts.
