The Coastal Stewards: Protecting Marine Life & Coastal Ecosystems - The Coastal Stewards The Coastal Stewards Dedicated to the Protection and Study ofMarine Life and the Coastal Ecosystems About The Coastal Stewards The Coastal Stewards is a nonprofit 501c3 conservation organization formerly known as the Gumbo Limbo Coastal Stewards. The nonprofit was established in 1981 as The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center of South Palm Beach. We are dedicated to the protection and study of marine life through our Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center and education programs. We have also recently expanded our conservation focus to include sea turtles manatees and dolphins.
