As part of our annual tradition honoring the military community, members of BAYADA’s Military Community (MILCOM) Employee Resource Council laid a ceremonial wreath aboard the historic Battleship New Jersey. This year’s tribute was made even more meaningful by the man who laid the wreath—Chris, an active-duty U.S. Air Force service member and proud father of BAYADA pediatric client, Esme. With the support of her BAYADA care team, Esme has made an incredible journey—from relying on a ventilator to now walking, talking, and thriving at home, right where she belongs. The wreath traveled across the country to Pacific Battleship Center - Battleship USS Iowa in Los Angeles, linking two coasts and two communities in a unified gesture of remembrance and gratitude.
