Casa Belvedere The Italian Cultural Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating Italian culture. Located in Staten Island, New York, the foundation has been a vibrant cultural center since its inception, fostering an appreciation for the Italian language, arts, music, literature, and more.

Mission

The foundation's mission is to preserve the past and enrich the future by hosting a wide range of cultural programs and events. These activities include language and cooking classes, art exhibits, cultural festivals, opera performances, and other engaging events that highlight Italian traditions.

Programs and Activities

Casa Belvedere offers a diverse array of programs tailored to various interests and age groups:

Casa Belvedere offers three levels of membership:

• Belvedere Circle: A private dining club membership offering preferential treatment and access to all events, including free cultural programs and special dining privileges.

• Bacco Circle: Tailored for young professionals under 40, this membership provides all the benefits of the highest level at half the price, along with targeted social and networking opportunities.

• Renaissance Circle: Ideal for those interested in cultural events, offering free or discounted admission to arts programs and occasional private dining experiences.

Building and Restoration

The foundation is housed in an Italianate-style, neo-Renaissance building built in 1908 by the Roebling-Stirn family. This historic structure offers stunning views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano Bridge. An ongoing restoration project aims to preserve the building while expanding its cultural programming capabilities.
