To accomplish this, a new generation of Lakota speakers must to be trained. LLC provides the pedagogical and technical support to help schools and communities save the language.

Lakota Language Consortium - Revitalizing the Lakota Language Taya Yahi. Lakota Language Consortium LLC is a nonprofit organization made up of community leaders linguists educators and volunteers. Our mission is to support the revitalization and preservation of Lakotiyapi by working to increase the total number of new speakers. We focus on developing language learning materials training teachers and promoting a vibrant and positive language community.
