Minnesota Forestry Association The Minnesota Forestry Association works on behalf of family forest owners through education and advocacy to promote stewardship and woodlands. Call Before You Cut 2188795100 Call Before You Cut is a free program for all of Minnesotas woodland owners who want guidance on determining if a timber harvest is the right for them. Landowners with 20 acres or more are provided with up to a halfday walkthrough of their woods by a professional forester at no cost. Under 20 acres please call the number above for free guidance.
