More About Us Who We Help Search One Rescue Team helps official government agencies locate lost or missing persons including missing children elderly walkaways suicidal persons human remains disaster victims and many other types of searches. Our Services We Are a Nonprofit In 1985 the team was incorporated as a NonProfit Community Service Organization within the State of Texas and by the Federal Government under section 501c3 as a 509a1 Tax Exempt NonProfit Organization. Support SORT 24 hour emergency request by official agencies only All other nonemergency requests or general inquiries Paul Lake Founder Executive Director of SORT Having served more than 120 agencies since 1983 our team is recognized nationally as a leader in the search and rescue community and has established excellent working relationships within the emergency response community.
