CAC Our Mission Improving the lives of abused children in Collier County Our Vision is to create a community that does not tolerate child abuse. Read About Our Values Our Programs In an effort to improve the lives of abused children in Collier County the Childrens Advocacy Center looks at the latest trends and research for both the prevention and intervention of child abuse. One of the key studies that inform what we do is the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study. Adverse Childhood Experiences ACEs is the term given to describe all types of abuse neglect and other traumatic experiences that occur to individuals under the age of 18.
