SHEPHERDS FIRE RESCUE is accepting Applications for Part time and Volunteer Firefighters Click hereEmployment Sectionto see Benefits andorRequirements Shepherds Fire Rescue Improves Insurance Rating 4 9E ISO rating will benefit citizens of the Shepherds Fire District Mooresville Earlier this week Shepherds Fire Rescue was notified by the North Carolina Department of Insurance NCDOI their Insurance Service Office ISO rating has improved from a split 69E to a 49E effective in June of this year. The ISO rating directly impacts the citizens of the Shepherds Fire District by lowering the rates on homeowners insurance policies. Fire departments are periodically inspected to ensure they are able to meet expected standards that dictate a minimum level of fire protection and also qualifies homeowners throughout the state to be eligible to receive reduced insurance premium rates. This is a major accomplishment for our department and community and I am very proud of the consistent effort hard work and continuous training our personnel commit to every day said Kelly Robinson Fire Chief.
