Welcome to Wildlife Wednesday!! For today's Wildlife Wednesday we have our very own special geese! 🪶 From roaming around the CSTL property and leaving evidence behind, these guys are pretty cool - They are highly social and very loyal. In fact, they mate for life and are very protective of their partners and offsprings - Geese are one of the largest waterfowl, second only to Swan. Though they are waterfowl, they spend most of their life on land - Flying in a "V" form allows for 71% of the flock greater flying range! - Geese have such impressive eye sight they can see things at much finer details than humans! - Goslings start communicating with their parents while they are still inside their eggs! 🪶 Have a favorite animal here at CSTL?
