To provide the local community with employment volunteer and recreational opportunities including an oncampus ice cream shop and mini golf course whose proceeds support the rescues operations and to partner with service organizations to create mutually beneficial dog care experiences. or Hours of Operation Welcome Center Open Wednesday thru Sunday from 9 am 5 pm Closed Mondays and Tuesdays During the Winter Dog Visits by Appointment Adoptable Dogs Volunteer Donate Now a history of Grammy Rosedog rescue sanctuary Located in Acton Maine our rescue was inspired by the lives of Rose Kessler Wentworth Grammy Rose and her husband Ralph Edward Wentworth Wicky Ralph. The rescue is a living tribute to their legacy and was built on land that has been stewarded by the Wentworths and their antecedents dating back to the American revolution.
