Summer is nearly here, and we’re excited to announce our updated summer hours—plus a special new benefit just for members! Summer Hours (June–August): Wednesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Due to historically low attendance during the summer months, we will not be open on Sundays from June through August. Exclusive Member Benefit: Early Admission! Starting in June, PDSC annual members can enjoy early weekday access to the center. Wednesday–Friday, doors open at 9:00 AM exclusively for members—enjoy a quieter, more personal experience before public hours begin. 💬 Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why is PDSC closed on Sundays this summer? A: Our Sunday attendance during the summer has historically been very low. Closing on Sundays allows us to reallocate our limited staff and resources toward higher-impact times and programming, while also giving our team time to reset and prepare for the week. Q: Are Saturday hours changing? A: No. We’ll continue to be open every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, as usual. Q: What’s the benefit of early admission for members? A: Beginning in June, members can visit the center an hour early (9:00 AM) on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This quieter window is perfect for families with young children, homeschoolers, or anyone who enjoys a more relaxed visit. Q: Will Sunday hours return after September? A: Yes! We plan to reassess and resume regular Sunday hours in October as we head into the school year and see increased weekend visitation. Q: I’m not a member—how can I become one?
