Alongside our brothers and sisters in conservation, we mourn the loss of Terry Wilson. The forthcoming issue of Covers magazine features the following segment, paying respect to Terry for his decades of generosity and leadership. Terry Wilson is the originator and former owner of Ugly Dog Hunting, former chair of the RGS & AWS board of directors, vice president of North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, wirehair enthusiast, bird hunting fanatic and all-around wonderful person. His impacts in the conservation community are innumerable. Active at all levels of RGS & AWS, he chairs our Green Mountain Chapter, which has raised over $500,000 since its inception. Terry is a friend to all hunters – bird hunters especially. He’s a mentor in the truest sense of the word. Our community has lost a hero and a friend in Terry Wilson. In March, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 30th Annual Green Mountain Chapter Conservation Banquet. Our hearts go out to his family, his friends, and his dogs. (fb)
