CAFE began in 1996 with a grant from the Kaiser Permanente Building Hope Foundation. Our purpose is to provide our youth with the needed tools to activate their highest potentials through academic artistic and cultural means. Now in its 28th year founder and CEO Lorna Green together with the Board of Directors committed professionals and community leaders lend their expertise to keep CAFEs program innovative and dynamic.
