Heart of Jazz Promoting Unity and Building Community Through Jazz The Heart of Jazz is comprised of jazz lovers from many fields jazz music law architecture filmmaking finance journalism and business whose common goal is to create equity and build community through jazz. We provide university scholarships for jazz studies and mentorship to underserved students seeking careers in jazz. We develop promote deliver and sponsor jazz events in partnership with underserved communities. Through free events we reintroduce jazz provide a forum for young musicians to perform in front of larger audiences and build community.
