Wildlife Conservation | Texas Bighorn Society Welcome to the Texas Bighorn Society Habitat Restoration Through habitat restoration projects we rehabilitate degraded landscapes and create sustainable habitats for bighorn sheep and other native species. Scientific Research Engaging in scientific research and monitoring initiatives to better understand the behavior ecology and conservation needs of bighorn sheep informing our efforts and guiding our conservation strategies. Education and Outreach Fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for bighorn sheep and their habitat through outreach programs workshops and educational materials. Leading the Charge for Wildlife Conservation Founded in 1981 by a dedicated group of bighorn enthusiasts the Texas Bighorn Society TBS has emerged as a prominent advocate for wildlife conservation in the Lone Star State.
