We’re excited to spotlight Seattle Stitchery, where color, creativity, and sustainability collide. What began as a mother-daughter mask-making project during the early days of the pandemic has grown into a joyful small business rooted in reuse, eco-conscious materials, and bold design. Founder Laura, inspired by her daughter’s passion for sewing, dusted off her own sewing skills after 20 years and discovered a vibrant new path. Today, she creates bright, handmade bags and accessories—each piece stitched with reclaimed or deadstock fabric in small batches, often featuring rare, out-of-print patterns. From waxed canvas to cork, every detail is crafted with care in her Seattle home, with over 90% of production waste recycled or reused.
