Jay Stone Singers JSS Fresh Anointed and still Exclusively Gospel. The ministry of the Jay Stone Singers began in the small North Carolina town of Hope Mills in October of 1976. Jay Stone the groups founder was serving as the choir director at his home church when he began to feel that God was directing him to take his ministry back on the road. Having been involved with various local Southern Gospel groups for most of his adult life Jay was no stranger to this area of ministry however this time would be different because the group was made up of Jay his wife Mary their 14 year old son Jeff their 11 year old daughter Sharona and a few close friends.
