In honor of National Give Something Away Day last week, below are the current needs for our group homes and CBS: 🏠 Marathon County https://a. co/dCi7RFZ 🏠 Winnebago County Lotion, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, towels, pillows, dish soap, body wash, printing paper, Bluetooth speaker, bikes, and a picnic table 🏠 Amery Books appropriate for ages 12–17, basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, all kinds of art supplies, bath and kitchen towels, cooking utensils, and food storage containers. 🏠 River Falls River Falls is currently planning a tour of Crystal Cave, so a monetary donation or tickets for that.

World Youth Skills Day, established by the UN in 2014 and observed every July 15th, recognizes the importance of equipping young people with the skills they need for employment, lifelong learning, and personal development. At Positive Alternatives, we see this in action every day: 🌍 In Marathon County, youth have been learning money management, job-readiness skills, and how to set healthy personal boundaries. 🌍 In Winnebago, one resident is learning to play blues guitar with a mentor, while others are preparing for job interviews with Independent Living Consultants.
