We are a nonprofit organization working alongside residents of federally subsidized housing as they pursue their goals in school work and life. Springboard to Opportunities is first and foremost a community partner committed to listening and responding to the needs and perspectives of families with limited financial resources.

The people who rely on Medicaid or use SNAP to feed their families are not just statistics — they’re real people with real stories. We believe in giving the mic over to those who have never been given the chance to be their own narrator for their own story.

It’s May newsletter day, y’all. 💚 This month we celebrated Mother’s Day, we had fellows participate in roundtables by local partners such as the ACLU, continued summer cash disbursements to our families, and began summer activities in our communities now that school is out. As you’ve probably heard by now the first step in the budget process passed in the U.
