Our Volunteer and Career firefighters responded to over 3400 calls for service in 2024. These include Structure fires motor vehicle accidents Technical rescue calls and Medical emergencies Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department is a hybrid Fire Department made up of 100 Volunteers and Albemarle County Fire Rescue career firefighters. It is a unique mix of local residents and students from all walks of life.

Continuing with our member spotlight, this monthβs member is Kevin Jaredic. Kevin has been volunteering with Seminole Trail for 2 years now. Raised in Charlottesville, Kevin first joined STVFD because he had some free time and a growing interest in firefighting and EMS.
