Karina brings more than 16 years of leadership in coastal environmental science and nonprofit management, along with a lifelong passion for the underwater world. Karina’s impressive career has focused on the intersection of science, policy, and advocacy to protect and restore our ocean and coastlines. Hillary Hauser, our co-founder and Executive Director for over 26 years, will support the transition and stay actively involved as Strategy Consultant, and remain a member of the Board of Directors. Karina officially assumes the position on June 2 - so please look out for upcoming opportunities throughout the summer to meet and connect. Heal the Ocean is seeking its next Operations and Outreach Manager! We’re looking for an experienced office manager and dynamic communicator to keep the HTO office running smoothly and support community outreach. This full-time position is essential to both the day-to-day operations and public-facing efforts of Heal the Ocean. The Operations and Outreach Manager will bring a sharp eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for protecting our coast.
