Earlier this week, our Policy team paid a visit to Policy Fellow Lindsay Klaunig's farm, Trouvaille Farm, for the first in-district event of the season. They were joined by folks from Rural Action and staff from Representative Troy Balderson's (R-12) office. Conversations centered on how the farm safety net could better support small, diversified producers like Lindsay.

Look at those babies 🐑🥺 Coming up on Saturday, June 14, we have a farm tour at The Tranquility Ranch. They’re a woman-owned farm raising grass-fed sheep in Somerset, Ohio. This is a two-part event that starts as a tour around the farm, then we’ll walk through the pastures and identify forage with an Ohio NRCS grazing specialist.
