Kaya's K9s Healing Dogs Serving Veterans KK9s provides financial assistance to veterans who cannot afford care for their service dogs. FEATURED IN Who We Are Kayas K9s was founded by Marine veteran Cole Lyle in memory of his late service dog Kaya. After she was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 Kaya received accolades and condolences from prominent politicians companies and celebrities and the cost of her veterinary care was covered by people who wanted to honor her. As these extraordinary dogs become prominent in the fight against veteran suicide there will be tens of thousands of veterans with service dogs who should receive the same level of financial support.
