South Despain Ditch Company South Despain Ditch Company founded in 1909 South Despain Ditch Company is a nonprofit irrigation company providing secondary water to residents of the Historic Granite Community in Utah. Shareholders receive water from Little Cottonwood Creek and from the beautiful White Pine Lake and Reservoir. White Pine Dam and Reservoir is owned operated and maintained by South Despain Ditch Company in coordination with the Utah Division of Water Rights and the US Forest Service. Upcoming Current Events We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.
