Aaron Douglas tragically passed away due to an accidental overdose on May 12, 2011. His parents, Karla and David, founded the AD Foundation as a way to channel their grief into action. The organization seeks to educate young people and raise awareness about the risks associated with prescription drug abuse, with the goal of saving lives.

Initiatives

One of the notable initiatives by the AD Foundation is the establishment of "Aaron's Rooms." The first Aaron's Room was opened at Loudon County's Boys and Girls Club, providing a dedicated space for youth to engage in constructive activities and receive support. The foundation aims to expand this initiative to create more such spaces.
