Saint Francis Living Room A Bright Haven for Homeless and LowIncome Seniors In San Franciscos Tenderloin A Safe Place for Seniors 60 Away From the Streets. The mission of the Saint Francis Living Room is to improve the quality of life for homeless and lowincome seniors in the Tenderloin. A small parttime staff committed Board and dedicated volunteers work to provide a safe haven for social interaction healthy breakfast and connections to community services such as housing health wellness and clothing. The St Francis Living was started in 1987 as a program of the St.
