Throwdown for the Kids A 501c3 Nonprofit Organization raising money for the kids through fitness. About Us In 2020 the idea to have the first Throwdown for the Kids began with a conversation between friends regarding the startling prevalence of child trafficking within our own country. Derek Bishop Savannah Wuthrich and Jackie and Corey Penny decided in that moment that they wanted to do something to make a difference in the lives of the victims. Partnering with The Place of Hope they started a nonprofit fundraising Crossfit competition based out of the Bishops gym The Crossfit Squad to help raise money locally to support the cause.
