Doing this work is extremely taxing, and hard. We are documenting all the things. There is so much to overcome here, so many cold stone hearts to warm and soften, so many minds to open. So many laws to change. As Katie said in the comments we want better for those who come after us. We can't change what happened to us and our children, but we can for others who are at risk of being deceived, duped and used as suppliers and products by the adoption indu$try who is catering to those who covet other people's children and feel entitled to them because they are (name it here). 14 years of this work and some days it feels like it's been 100 years. Some days - the days that we are able to help another mom and family avoid ever knowing what this is like - makes it all worth it. We've found each other. We've come together from all walks of life.
