Our Vision GEO vision is to provide access to quality ear healthcare for all especially those affected by poverty and lack of care by providing humanitarian ear surgery and training in country doctors. Our Approach GEO from the ground up helps design develop and build temporal bone labs for teaching purposes in both academic and non academic settings. From the temporal bone lab where the anatomy of the middle ear is learned to the operating theater where technique is refined GEO is helping to advance surgical skills.

As many of you know, GEO has close friends and colleagues in Ukraine. We spoke to Roman in Ivano-Frankivsk who is thankfully still receiving calls and is with his wife Kateryna. They are taking in friends and family fleeing from the East but Putin's forces are closing in on the Western cities too.

GEO-UK lead Mr Misha Verkerk leads an exciting new collaboration to train ear surgeons in Tanzania at Bugando Medical Centre, Mwanza. Thanks to Dr Gustave Buname and the whole ENT Department for hosting us and for Dr Lia Jacobson at Mending Kids for making the connection.
