We're heartbroken to annouce the closure of our programs and operations. Since our founding in 2013, and since giving our first shower in San Francisco in 2014, our organization has revolutionized the way communities see and serve their unhoused neighbors. Our deepest gratitude goes out to all of you who joined us in achieving this incredible impact. We came into 2023 with good cash reserves and high-probability funding proposals. Unfortunately, most of these funding proposals did not come through as we had expected. This resulted in an unprecedented budget shortfall, and after much deliberation, we have decided to immediately cease 90% of our programs and operations, with full closure in Summer 2023. In order to preserve the hard work and dedication of so many, we are developing a plan to ensure that our online resources remain available for anyone that wants to bring mobile showers and Pop-Up Care Villages to their communities.
